Thanksgiving

We have been talking about the First Thanksgiving in your room. The kids should be able to tell you about the Mayflower, Pilgrims, Indians, Plymouth and the thankful meal they all shared. Here are a few pictures from our daily activities.

Christmas in November

As many of you have noticed in the mornings. We are playing christmas music in your classroom. We have started practicing our music for our Christmas Concert. Here are a few pictures of the kids practicing today. 

Everyone is Different

This week we are talking about how there are so many people in the world and we are all different. We have not done any art projects this week. All of our art has been hands on. We looked at photos and picked out different traits each person had. Today we watched a short video with a message saying "who says your not perfect" and " I love me for me and I wouldn't wanna be anybody else". So if you hear your child singing these words around the house I apologize. They asked me to repeat the song over and over today. 

Pumpkin Patch!

Our field trip was so much fun! The weather turned out to be perfect! When we got back we only had an hour to nap. The kids were so hard for me to wake up. In the afternoon they were all pretty quiet and laid back. Here are a few pictures from our day. I tried to pick just a few of the best, but it was hard with so many smiles.
