Shapes and Colors

This week we are refreshing our memories on Shapes and Colors. Today each child built anything they wanted using magnetic shapes. Here are their photos and a few additional pictures of the centers we have been doing this week. 

Iowa Gym Nest

We had a great time on our field trip to the Iowa Gym Nest. The kids ran around the whole time and were wore out by the time we got back to Creation kids. They were ready for nap as soon as they ate.

5 4 3 2 1.....Blast Off!!

We have had so much fun learning about Outer Space the past few weeks. I was so impressed today when we talked about everything we learned. The kids were able to answer all of my questions right away. Here are a few pictures of our projects and centers!

Outer space

This week we are learning about Outer space and the Solar System. Today we made Rockets using our names and built rockets out of Legos and blocks. 

Basket Races!!

The cold weather has kept us locked up inside. Trek kids and the teachers are getting a little crazy. So we decided to have some basket races to help us all wear off some built up energy. Here are a few pictures of the kids enjoying themselves. :)
