Happy 5th Birthday Ava!!

Today we celebrated Ava's birthday. She brought in a birthday cake to share with all the preschoolers. It was a delicious treats and very thoughtful of her!  

Easy day after all that hard work!!

Today we decided to have an easy and fun day. With all the hard work that the kids have done over the past month to get ready for their program they earned it. This morning we spent some free time coloring and watching The Polar Express. In between we took a short break to enjoy a Christmas visit from Miss Mandy. 

The Angel Gabriel

This week we are talking about the Meaning of Christmas. Today we read a book "The Christmas Story" For art today using our handprints we made the angel Gabriel. The angel who came to Mary and told her she was the choosen one. For Centers this week we have Nativity sets, Santa and Elf costumes, and white (snow) sand. We are also working on the sight work of, and for. 

Do You Want to build a Snowman?

We had a busy day today!! To finish our letter M. We had two writing worksheets to do today. We read a book about the importance of Winter gear when it is cold outside and how each item protects our skin. For art we decorated a heart and mittens and made cards for our families. "Cold Hands & Warm Hearts". We also put together a little bag full of snacks that we can use to make a snowman. The kids had to follow a picture chart to put together their bags.
