Gorillas!!!

Today we made Gorilla puppets. The kids had to color them, cut them out and glue them together. We also started writing the number 7 today. Our sight words this week are: but, down. This morning with the nice weather we decided to skip our book and puzzle time and spend an extra 30 minutes outside enjoying the weather!

Monkeys

This week we are talking about Jungle animals. A few weeks ago we talked about the Zoo. There were so many animals and subjects we were unable to fit in. So this week we are continuing with wild jungle animals. Our book today talked about Tiger cubs and how their mothers take care of them. For art today we made monkeys using our hand prints. 

Jack is our Star Student this week. We are excited to see all the cool toys he brings in to share with us.

Old McDonald's Farm

Well it was a day of being outside and a lot to do. We could not have asked for better weather!!
We hiked, played on a large playground, looked at animals (a few goats, sheep, ducks, pigs and cows) and had lunch outside. It was a fun day!
