Cutting and Coloring

Today in the Happy Hippo room we continued learning the rules and our daily schedule. We had a few more new friends today that we had to get to know. For art we had the kids sit down and show us how they held a crayon/pencil and colored a simple back to school picture.

First day of Preschool

TODAY'S NOTES:

Today we spent most of the morning learning each other's names and the class rules. For centers we have a cutting station, writing station and group play activities. Both teachers just wanted to get a feel how each child did with the stations and observe today. Overall, It was a GREAT day in the Happy Hippo room!! We will start using our behavior/reward chart over the next few days. Today the kids were all to quiet to even need a warning. As the teachers we are not complaining, but we know they will be out of their shells soon enough. :)
