Patterns Week

This week our theme is Patterns. Today we spent most of the day making colorful patterns and picking patterns out that surrounded us. I apologize if this continues at home. The kids talked about patterns ALL day. We are also writing the letter B this week and triangle is our shape. The kids did a much better this week coming up with words that start with B. We are off to a good start with our weekly list.

Apple trees!!

Today we continued our letter A and Apple/Autumn week. For art we made colorful autumn trees with our fingerprints! Everday we are coming up with new "A" words. Since it was a rain day we stayed inside and worked off our energy with JustDance videos!

Super Hero Apples!

Today to continued our letter A and Apple week we made Super Hero Apples. The kids were supplied with the pieces and had to put them together using instructions. They all are unique but still look super cool. Yesterday we struggled to make a list of words that start with the letter A. Today the kids did a much better job coming up with words!! We have been learning a fingerplay called "5 Little Apples." Today is only day 2 and the kids have picked it up so well. (they know it better then I do)
