Apples and Aa

We finished out week of Apple's with tasting apples. The kids made individual apple pies and we also cut up apples and ate them with candy caramel. Here are a few pictures from out week of Apples.

Patterns!!

This week we are learning about the letter Bb. We are also learning about Patterns. The kids are doing a great job of picking patterns out of everyday things. Outside objects, inside decorations, socks, shirts pants, shapes, colors, etc.. Every morning they come in and tell me something new they saw that had a Pattern. 

Apple Orchard

We had a lot of fun at the Apple Orchard today. There was a nice breeze and with our water bottles it was the perfect day!! The kids did a great job answering the questions the orchard staff was asking them. 

Super Hero!!!

This week we are learning about the letter A. Today we learned the sign language for A. The sound A makes and we made a list of words that start with the letter A. We are also talking about Apples this week and our upcoming trip to the Apple Orchard. Here is a photo of our Super Hero Apples and our super hero poses. 

Friday!!!

Today we have been busy. We finished out week on the Alphabet. Next week we will start learning each letter individually. To complete out week we played Alphabet Bingo. The kids loved it!! They didn't want to go outside for recess today. They wanted to stay inside and play Bingo. I told them we would play it a few times a month if they continued to have such great weeks.

Tuesday!!

Well I hope everyone enjoyed their three day weekend! All the Happy Hippo's did amazing this morning. They came right in and jumped into our routine. :) This week we are going over the Alphabet. (Upper and lower case letters). Starting next week we will be focusing on a letter each week. We will trace that letter, learn its sound and practice writing it.
