Splash Pad!!!

It was our first field trip to a splash pad and it was perfect! The weather was so nice. We got rained on during lunch but we were under the shelter house the whole time. When the kids finished lunch the sun was back out and we were able to enjoy a little time on the cool playground. 

Up, up and Away!!

Today for our movie theme. We talked about the movie "Up". For art we made balloons carrying away a house using our finger prints. For dress up/dramatic play the kids were playing house and pretending to be "old" like the man in the movie. When I say they were being "old" what I really mean is they kept saying they were 25. LOL

Lights, camera and Action!

This week we are talking about movies. Today we learned how voice overs work and the simple parts of how movies are created. For our dramatic play this week the kids get to dress up and put on their own play. There was some great entertainment provided this morning. :) For art we made Hollywood clapboards.
