Friday!!!

Today we have been busy. We finished out week on the Alphabet. Next week we will start learning each letter individually. To complete out week we played Alphabet Bingo. The kids loved it!! They didn't want to go outside for recess today. They wanted to stay inside and play Bingo. I told them we would play it a few times a month if they continued to have such great weeks.

Tuesday!!

Well I hope everyone enjoyed their three day weekend! All the Happy Hippo's did amazing this morning. They came right in and jumped into our routine. :) This week we are going over the Alphabet. (Upper and lower case letters). Starting next week we will be focusing on a letter each week. We will trace that letter, learn its sound and practice writing it. Here are a few pictures from last week.

Monday!!!

Today the kids played really well together. They must have been wore out from the weekend or the heat today because they were all very quiet and asking about nap time all morning. :)

This week we are continuing to get to know each other. Today we colored a back to school picture. Then we cut it into a puzzle. The kids shared their puzzles with each other and put together someone else's. We are also using Legos as a center and working together to build something big. (Ex. boats, houses, houseboats and airplanes). Here are a few pictures from our day!

These last three days have been great getting to know your children. We have had so much fun trying out the new toys, puzzles and blocks. I am looking forward to what the year has in store for us. 1st day of Preschool!

It was so much fun getting to know your kids on their first day! We had so much fun learning about our new friends, our classroom and our daily routine. The kids were all over the room playing with all the toys and seeing what new things they could find. We made self portraits today. They kids drew a picture of how they looked on their 1st day of Preschool. A few kids had some clever ideas. One of them scribbled all over their shirt they drew. When I asked what it was she told me " It's the juice I spilt on the my shirt at snack". (HaHa) I look forward to another great day tomorrow and getting to know your children better!
