A Fall Snack

Today we made leaf snacks. We used a hand shape glove and filled them with colored popcorn. First we colored the popcorn red, yellow, green and orange for fall colors. Then we added chex mix to the bag for the color brown. Many of the kids had to sample the colored popcorn before they would put it in their bags. They thought since it was colored it would taste gross. They all had the same reaction. Yum it taste like butter and salt! :) When we were finished we had a little left over so we had a quick snack before we went outside. For art today we made Leaf Suncatchers!
