Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

Today we finished our two weeks of Dr. Seuss with a birthday party to celebrate all his books. We have enjoyed listening to parents come in to read to us, other teachers and older kids from the before and after school program. During the party today we played pin the hat on the cat, one fish two fish bean bag toss, Suess-O bingo, musical cake walk using Dr. Seuss characters instead of chairs and coloring contest. We ended the party with "Horton hears a Who" movie. Snack this morning we had green eggs and ham, green juice and goldish. For lunch we had a Cat in the Hat stripped pizza, Lorax carrots, broccoli trees and strawberry/banana fruit, also for cat in the hat.
