He is Risen!

This week we are talking about the true meaning of Easter and adding in a few easter eggs. Today we read the story of the The First Easter. We talked about Jesus dying for our sins on the cross and how God had sent an angel to come down from heaven and push the stone away from the tomb. The angel told the people. "Do not be afraid. Jesus is not here. He has risen! Since it is a short week we are only doing a few worksheets for the letter Y. We will continue them next week. We have Miss Mandy and Miss Beth coming on Wednesday to talk to us about Easter, Thursday is our field trip and Friday is Good Friday.
