Today's subject on the Human body was about our busy stomach. We talked about the digestive system and how the food moves through your body and how we use for for energy and body warmth. We learned the front of our teeth are for biting and the back teeth are for chewing and your tongue helps you swallow. Many of the kids had the question "Where does the food go, is it our poop?" and "Why do we fart?" Needless to say, that is all they seem to remember. :)
We made human "bones" using white melted chocolate covered over pretzels. With mini marshmallows on each end. I think the kids favorite part was sneaking marshmallows and licking their fingers.
