Hurts Donut in Coralville has been donating 100% of the proceeds from "thin blue line" donuts sold the past few days for the two police victims families in Des Moines and Urbandale. My husband picked up ours today and brought them to school (with a push from Katie Clubb) for the teachers. Of course I had to share mine with my students. The sugar high they had was worth it to help support these families in such a tragic time.
