Windmill Manor

Our trip to Windmill Manor was a good experience for the children and the older people really enjoyed seeing them. We had a bigger crowd then we planned. Once the residents saw the kids walking through the halls they asked their nurses to take them to the Library. We had people sitting in the hallway outside the room. Many of the kids didn't sing because they were to busy looking around and watching the older people (we put a few of them to sleep with each song- lol). It was the quietest they have every sang. Afterwards each child went and gave a Christmas card to someone. EVERY child gave them the card and told them Merry Christmas. It was a very sweet thing to witness and all the residents didn't quit smiling and thanking the children.

Merry Christmas from the Happy Hippo girls. HAHA

The kids practiced their songs in the van on the drive.
